The Arrondissement is very nice. There are nice restaurants, supermarkets and possibilities to go shopping not far from the hotel. The metro station is right next to the hotel, just in the street behind. You can even walk to the city center, it takes like 15 to 20 min, but you need a plan, if you dont know well the city. The room was bright, with to big windows and a nice look-out, it seemed very parisian. The room and bath room were cleaned every day. The staff was always friendly. There is a elevator, so you dont have to take the stairecase. Free Wifi in the whole hotel.
The accomodation of the room was very old. It was ok für the furniture like bed, wardrobe, table... But the floor and the walls were so dirty - blotch of everything everywere. It was kind of disgusting. The room would have been so nice, if they just had put on some new paint at the walls and had changed the carpet. The bath room was extremly small but still ok. In the whole hotel was a strong smell of cleaning agent. I would recommend this hotel only to people who really don't care about dirty walls and carpets!!!
The Hotel is good. For Parisian standard it is def. Ok, clean, and basic comfort but with a vintage charme. I can imagine that US-American visitors could totally freak out about the details, but that is the charme of old Europe. I loved it. Rooms are small, the walls thin, but the flair of Paris is in front of the window. I would recommend it to travellers aware of price and edgy style. The Staff is friendly, even the change of my booking was done on a very short notice, merci c´est un bon hotel.
Small, cozy hotel in very good and econom place. Best siutable for economy staying for several days to see nice places in Paris. Several minutes to nearest metro Republique (a lot of metro branches crosses here).
Small lift, on November - very hot radiators, not manageable. Other thing are good for this small price :)
Location was OK.
Dirty room, smelly bedding, poorly maintained bathroom facilities.
was very poor total dirty
its location, close to subway and restaurants
it is being renovated, constructiion under way
Excellent location with access to five Metro lines at Republique station very close by (5 mins walk). Very helpful friendly staff.
Bedroom only had window to an internal shaft. Carpet was in poor condition.
The hotel was located at a good spot to trvel in Paris
One of the facts to choose this hotel was that there was Wifi available. The Wifi was NOT avaivle and I had to make extra costs to have acces to internet.
Elivators didn't work all the time. Bathroom was smaller than small.
Only the position is positive.
This is the dirtiest hotel I ever slept in. Mouldy, dirty and without any servicies. I was confirmed Parquet floor, hairdryer etc. but nothing of this was reality. It doesn't cost a lot, but still too much having to sleep in a room like that.
It is well positioned. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Shower and toilet facility is very small.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The toilet is so small yet clean.
location (metro, lots of cafes) and it was cosy for me regardless lack of services
bathroom is VERY small, too basic. Old furniture and wall finishings.
The breakfast is very hearty. The place is wonderful, right in the heart of Paris, near the grocery store.
The only drawback shabby furniture, booked a double room was comfortable, but they gave a cheap twin, the day moved into the comfort of a twin bed is no other. But the twin beds in the honeymoon is a lot of fun every night. )) I was told to that there are no refrigerators in hotels with one star.
Quite good location Friendly staff Reception - opened 24/7
small and a little dirty bathroom
